Stories of the Challenges We Faced

The aftermath of Yolanda presented us with a myriad of challenges, overwhelming and heartbreaking. The sheer scale of destruction, Trees were uprooted, cars were overturned, and power lines were down. Bodies of people and animals were scattered everywhere. The smell of death and decay was overwhelming, people in panic and despair. Some were crying and praying, some were looting and stealing, and some were fighting and killing..However, we were unwavering in our commitment to help the victims and alleviate their suffering.

Throughout our journey, we experienced significant milestones and witnessed the impact of our efforts on the lives of the survivors. Through collective determination and unwavering support from our partners and donors, we were able to:

Distribute emergency relief supplies to thousands of affected families. Rebuild multiple schools and healthcare facilities, providing improved access to education and healthcare services. Facilitate trauma healing sessions, bringing solace and hope to survivors. Establish long-term sustainable projects that empower survivors and enhance their resilience to future disasters.

Making Change
